During German colony times a parish house was established here. This is also believed to have been the centre of the Irši manor. These days, visitors can see a stone memorial plaque for the Irši colony.

 We recommend to learn more about the Irši manor with a guide, who will tell and show you all the fascinating titbits. The guide will take you into the exposition hall, which is located at the former Irši pub (German: Gaststaette), that currently houses a primary school. It is located near the parish house.
