The family camping "Kārkļu osta" is located right on the Daugava River, 4.5 km from the ruins of Koknese Castle. It is a place where you can still feel the magical breath of antiquity and enjoy unforgettable natural landscapes. Guests can visit the medieval castle ruins and the Garden of Destiny from the water or from land, take part in water sports or fishing, or treat themselves to delicious farm produce from the neighbouring organic farm. 

There is a large camping area (10 ha) for private events, sports games, bonding events, camps and workshops, as well as for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

Event tent rental - Large (6x12m) tent for events on the banks of the Daugava. Designed for 40-60 people. We offer 4 round tables (1,80m diameter) and 40 chairs. One table can seat 10 people. If necessary, we can provide additional tables and chairs. Equipment: bar counter, lighting, electricity, water, outdoor grill. There is a new building with toilet and shower facilities. 

Holiday cottages - 3 fishing cottages are available for relaxation by the Daugava - Sams, Zandarts and Līdaka. Each cottage is 18m2 with two separate rooms, suitable for 2-4 people. 12 beds in total. There is a small kitchenette with crockery, fridge, microwave, kettle. Toilet and shower next to the bathroom.

Hot tub rental available: 8-seater hot tub, equipped with aeromassage, LED lighting.
Picnic, camping and caravan sites - picnic shelters with table and barbecue, fireplace. Electricity and water points, toilets and showers.

For active leisure:

Three boats (Amber 365) are available for fishing or water recreation, can be rented with a Honda 2,5hp petrol engine. Price EUR 5,00 per hour, EUR 20,00 per day. Can be rented with Honda 2,5hp petrol engine + EUR 20/day. 3 boats available. Price includes life jackets.
SUP boards are available for hire - 5,00 EUR/hour, 20,00 EUR/all day. 3 SUP boards available. Price includes life jackets. 
The campsite has a football pitch, volleyball court, and a table tennis table.
